So I haven't been on a date in a while (16 years to be precise) .....This sounded like a fabulous idea!

So Jo, what is a blind book date I hear you cry.... Well you swap, or buy a mystery book which just has some clues on the front. I am a fairly eclectic reader anyway, but if your not this is a perfect way to potentially expand you reading horizon, and read something you wouldn't usually. It also prevents 'judging a book by its cover.'

Happy slurping!

I have recently been lucky enough to snag a ARC copy of Laura Shepperd -Robinsons Blood and Sugar (Read my review, and add your thoughts, would love to discuss!). I really enjoyed it and decided to send this as my choice. It was being released the 24th Jan, so I grabbed a copy on release day. I colour coordinated the string wrapping, and added some twinings tea #twinings #tea to enjoy whilst reading, and a cute little book mark I made.

I even added the slavers brand used in the book!

The day of excitement came, my book date arrived EEEKK!

What do you guess? No cheating! Answers in the comments.

So I guessed that my book was The Shining by the almighty King!! But alas I was WRONG!

It was this, I have seen a few mixed reviews on this book, but had wanted to read it, so looking forward to that. I will review once read :). I did this through a Facebook group

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1829201730523691/ link if you're interested in trying it out.

I really enjoyed this and I am looking forward to the next one....Have you done this before? Did you find a new book to love? #blindbookdate #bloodandsugar #netgalley #snap #belindabauer
